Develop and test solutions for inpatient challenges
To identify, design and evaluate interventions that respond to the day-to-day challenges faced by inpatient diabetes teams, ensuring better outcomes and smoother care pathways.

Promote and facilitate diabetes research and dissemination
DISG fosters a culture of research and innovation by supporting new studies and providing a platform to share findings that shape the future of inpatient diabetes care. 

Establish a collaborative multidisciplinary network
The DISG bring together a multidisciplinary community of professionals committed to advancing inpatient diabetes care, promoting knowledge exchange, shared learning and collaborative problem-solving.

Enhance accessibility and utilisation of existing resources
We help healthcare professionals access and apply existing tools, evidence and best practice more effectively through targeted education and clear dissemination.

These objectives will be delivered through regular online meetings, collaborative working groups and an annual national conference dedicated to inpatient diabetes care.
